Introducing Dave Faires to Constellation Home Electronics!

We are delighted to introduce Dave Faires as our most recent addition to the Constellation staff. He is currently dividing his schedule between the showroom and the installation department. Having started in the audio/video industry in 1977, he learned early that it was important to have skills in both areas, since few stores at the time had fully-equipped installation departments.

First working in El Paso, TX, where he was born, Dave’s early experience came by working for three different retailers, two of them brand-new companies. He then moved to the Washington D.C. area and worked for Myer-Emco for 14 years. longing for home in 2000, he moved to Albuquerque’s East Mountains, where he still resides.

Despite residence in Sandia Park, Dave has worked in Santa Fe since 2003, when he started at the Candyman. After the Hi-Fi department there closed in 2007, he continued as a full-time installation technician at another local company.

Dave brings a love for music, particularly live, to his employment. He currently plays with his girlfriend in a dance band, The Thrifters. They provide music for the New Mexico Folk Music and Dance Society (Folkmads) as well as the Enchantment Scottish Dance Society, and play occasional english country dances.
